PAPRSB IHS Lecturer Presented Human Rights and Nursing AwardDr Yusrita Zolkefli, a Nursing and Midwifery Lecturer from PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences was one of the two recipients of the Human Rights and Nursing Award by the International Care Ethics Observatory.The Human Rights and Nursing Award was presented to Dr Yusrita at the University of Surrey, Guilford, United Kingdom during the 20th International Nursing Ethics Conference organised by the International Care Ethics Observatory in conjunction with the 5th International Care Ethics.As a lecturer who coordinates the Law and Ethics for Health Professionals module at undergraduate and graduate levels, Dr Yusrita was nominated on the basis of her outstanding initiatives, both in education and practice which have inspired nurses to embrace ethics and law as part of their daily working life. She has also published widely on subjects such as patient autonomy, courage, choice in healthcare, truth-telling and most recently in Nursing Ethics on nurses' perceptions of ethical responsibility.
