  • U.S. Embassy, UBD, UTB Co-Host Public Lecture by Georgia Tech Expert

    The Embassy of the United States of America in Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) jointly organised and hosted a public lecture, under the U.S. Speaker Program, by Dr. Ayanna Howard, Chair of the School of Interactive Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). The public lecture consisted of two sessions entitled "Overview of Dr. Ayanna Howard's journey in STEM: Future and Perspectives on AI and Robotics" and "University Research Spinoffs and Technopreneurship". The event was held at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences (PAPRSB IHS) Lecture Theatre 2, UBD.

  • UBD Launches Turkish Week

  • UBD breaks into Times Higher Education World Rankings

    UBD achieved a major milestone this year, entering the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for the very first time with a global position in the 401 to 500 band. UBD is now the fourth-ranked university in ASEAN. This is a remarkable accomplishment for a small 34-year old university, and only made possible through the strong support of the government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
