CAMES Postgraduate Symposium: Techno-Economic studies of Microgrid for Sustainable Development Goals
The High Commission of Canada in Brunei Darussalam donated thirty-nine books to Universiti Brunei Darussalam's (UBD) Library aimed at providing UBD students with a good selection of Canadian books in the genre of literature, science, fiction, history and culture. Her Excellency Madam Jeanette Stovel, the High Commissioner of Canada in Brunei Darussalam presented the books to the Vice-Chancellor of UBD, Datin Dr. Dayang Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz in a ceremony at UBD's Library.
UBD is currently partnered with eighteen Canadian higher education institutions through its membership of the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) network, enabling student exchanges and other academic collaboration. This includes Brock university, Memorial University of Newfoundland, Royal Roads University, Laurentian University and University of Northern British Columbia.
UBD academics have also applied for the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) for mid-career professionals at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, a short-term scholarship awarded to mid-career professionals from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) for professional development through short-term courses in Canada.
