UBD Film Festival 2014

UBD Film Festival 2014 is a newly established project by UBD, which showcases the talents and skills of UBD students in creating their own films. This event is created and managed by UBD students themselves taking the module AC-4308 Communication and Event Design, supervised by Dr Chris Woo, involving a total presentation of 8 short films produced by also UBD students taking the module AC-4309 Short Film Making, supervised by Dr Janet Marles. We also welcome local filmmakers as tocelebrate the achievement of Bruneian filmmakers where it is also about the community of bourgeoning film artists in Brunei.  The project was created as a network platform for the film industry as we welcome all the members of the community of film makers, film enthusiasts, production crews, students and also academics. This hence provides a constructive and practical space for knowledge exchange and training and at the same time to build actual collaborations and this at the same time is to discover and explore the existing local talents and skills hence involving local production houses and local vendors to the event.
