Walk the Path of Success with UBD

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) is inviting prospective students to learn more about available programmes, entry requirements and life on campus by visiting the Higher Education Expo 2024 and UBD Open Day 2024.

UBD representatives will be on hand to receive visitors at the Higher Education Expo 2024 to be held from 3rd to 4th February 2024 at Bridex Hall, Jerudong. On 3rd February, Higher Education Expo 2024 will be open to visitors from 10am to 5pm. Meanwhile on 4th February, the expo will be open from 9am to 5pm.

UBD will also be holding its Open Day from 3rd to 4th February 2024. Prospective students can drop by the UBD Library on the two days from 9am to 5pm daily where academics and staff from all faculties will be able to answer any and all enquiries. The UBD Research Open Day will also be held concurrently. Graduates looking to further their academic and research capabilities can speak to lecturers and researchers to find out more. Both events will be an ideal opportunity to be present and explore the campus as the UBD Library is located in the heart of the university.

Late last year, Universiti Brunei Darussalam School of Business and Economics (UBD SBE) was awarded the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation. Less than 6% of the world’s schools offering business degree programmes hold AACSB business accreditation. A hallmark of business education excellence, UBD SBE now joins an elite group of over 1,000 business schools across 60 countries.

In addition to accreditation, individual subjects in UBD have been recognised by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and the Times Higher Education (THE) University subject rankings. In the latest QS Subject Rankings, UBD placed 301-330 for Modern Languages. Meanwhile, in the THE Subject Rankings, UBD ranked 301-400 in three subjects; Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences, and Education. The university also placed 501-600 for Physical Sciences and 401-500 for Business and Economics.
