Supporting a healthier, more inclusive UBD community

Universiti Brunei Darussalam is committed to creating a campus environment where students and staff feel supported, included and able to participate fully in university life.

UBD provides a range of health, wellbeing, counselling and accessibility services to support the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of the university community.

These services are coordinated by UniHEALTH, UBD’s Centre for University Life and Wellness, which brings together counselling services, preventive health and wellness initiatives, inclusive support, accessibility services and coordinated referral pathways.

How We Can Support You

Counselling and Mental Health Support

Confidential and professional counselling support is available to UBD students and staff experiencing personal, emotional, academic, workplace or mental health concerns.

Inclusive Support and Accessibility

Guidance and coordinated support are available for students and staff who may experience health-related, physical, sensory, psychological, learning or accessibility barriers.

Need Immediate Support?

UniHEALTH supports the well-being of the university community through health promotion, education, and wellness initiatives. For urgent medical attention or crisis support, please contact the appropriate emergency services to receive immediate assistance.

About UniHEALTH

UniHEALTH is UBD’s Centre for University Life and Wellness. Established on 8 August 2025, the Centre supports a coordinated, whole-university approach to health, wellbeing, inclusion and accessibility.

Operating under the Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor, University Life and Governance, UniHEALTH works with faculties, departments, student organisations and external partners to advance UBD’s Healthy University agenda.
