Yes, you do. As UBD staff, you will need prior approval from UBD to undertake any long-term study especially if it would potentially affect your work and responsibilities. All approvals must be obtained before the start of course and will need to go through the same process as those applying for LDP, excluding submission to JPA for final approval.
