Synthesis and characterization of metal oxide nanomaterials and carbon-based nanocomposites; green synthesis using plant and medicinal herb extracts; catalytic and photocatalytic applications of nanomaterials, including the degradation of environmental pollutants and catalysis of organic reactions; antibacterial, antioxidant and other bioactive properties of nanomaterials and natural extracts; and the development of functional nanomaterials for environmental and biomedical applications.
