Full Time Research Assistant @ Centre for Advanced Material and Energy Sciences

Centre for Advanced Material and Energy Sciences (CAMES) is conducting a research on Chemical Materials for Hydrogen Storage, seeks to hire ONE (1) Full-Time Research Assistant for a period of ONE YEAR starting from 15th December 2022 until 30th November 2023.

The Role

We seek candidates with adequate knowledge and skills for assisting in academic and scientific research, in particular in area of heterogeneous catalysis.

Minimum requirements:

1. Bruneian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Brunei Darussalam
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related fields
3. Has relevant experience in laboratory work
4. Industrial experience is an advantage
5. Evidence of commitment to research
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
8. Familiar with word processing and statistical software
9. Experience in research process and management in Brunei Higher Learning Institute is an advantage
10. Experience in simulation and modelling studies is an advantage
11. Experience in web design is an advantage
