1.  International Security / Defence Studies 
 
  • Professor | Associate Professor  
  The Faculty of Military Studies (FMS), Universiti Brunei Darussalam, invites applications for an academic appointment specialising in International Security, Defence Studies, or a related discipline.  

Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and possess proven teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate and/or professional military education levels.  

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver advanced, practitioner-oriented teaching that integrates theoretical foundations, policy analysis, and contemporary security practice, as well as to contribute to curriculum design and enhancement of defence- and security-related modules within a professional military education environment.  

 

2.  War Studies 
 
  • Professor | Associate Professor  
  The Faculty of Military Studies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, invites applications for an academic appointment specialising in War Studies. 

Applicants should hold a PhD in War Studies, or a related discipline, and have teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate and/or professional military education levels.  

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver advanced, practitioner-oriented teaching in areas such as the theory and practice of war, strategy, and contemporary conflict, and to contribute to curriculum development for defence- and security-related modules within a professional military education environment.
