Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education is conducting a research on “Conceptualising a Pedagogical Content Knowledge Framework for Integrating Heritage Education in Malay Language Teacher Education in Negara Brunei Darussalam”, and seeks to hire a full time Research Assistant for a period of 30 days, starting from September 2026.
The Role
We are actively seeking candidates who are able to analyse survey, transcribe interviews, conduct comprehensive literature reviews on relevant background, theories, and research methods, and prepare research reports based on analysed data. Candidates should have the ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative data analysis using research software such as SPSS, JASP, ATLAS.ti, NVivo, or other relevant tools. Prior experience in conducting interviews and research data collection will be considered an advantage.
Minimum requirements:
- A Master’s degree in any field, preferably in Education.
- Have own vehicle and computer/laptop
- Demonstrated excellent verbal communication skill
