Part-time Research Assistant

We seek to hire ONE (1) part time research assistant to work on the project titled ‘Anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrillatory, and neuroprotective effects of metal (gold, silver, etc.) nanoparticles synthesized using local medicinal plant extracts in Parkinson’s Disease animal models.’

The part-time research assistant is required to work for ten (10) days a month for the period starting 1 May 2026 until 30 April 2027 (12 months).

The Role:

• We seek candidates with a background in biomedical sciences, biotechnology or biological sciences and knowledge and experience with working in a laboratory.
• Candidates are required to have experience in animal handling, animal husbandry and carrying out procedures.

Minimum requirements:

1. Brunei Citizen.
2. MSc degree in biomedical sciences, biotechnology or biological sciences (or related field).
3. Experience in lab work and handling scientific equipment in a chemistry laboratory.
4. Experience in animal husbandry, animal handling, and carrying out procedures.
