Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science

General Requirement

• At least Credit C6 in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level Examination ; or
• Grade ‘B’ in IGCSE English (as a Second Language) ; or
• IELTS overall score 6.0 or better ; or
• TOEFL minimum overall score of 550.

GCE ‘A’ Level Qualification or equivalent

A minimum of 96 ‘A’ Level points for three ‘A’ Level passes from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Physics, with a minimum of three grade ‘C’s. Other subjects may also be considered on a case-by-case basis; OR

International Baccalaureate

An International Baccalaureate with a minimum total score of 24 points, including at least grade 4 in three relevant subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Physics, at Higher Level (HL) or Standard Level (SL). Accepted subjects may be considered on a case-by-case basis;

OR

any other qualification which is deemed equivalent or fit may be considered by faculty and approved by Senate on a case-by-case basis.

Interview

Have performed to a satisfactory standard in a multiple mini-interview (MMI) covering the pre-requisite biomedical science knowledge, attitudes, ethics, critical and communication skills needed to follow this programme.
