Student Activities and Development Unit

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Planning, organizing, and implementing students’ Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) in the University such as cultural, sports and student leadership activities.
2. Supervising and providing relevant facilities and equipment for students’ activities within and outside the campus.
3. Ensuring students’ involvement and participation in various ECAs under the Persatuan Mahasiswa/i Universiti Brunei Darussalam (PMUBD) and develop leadership and innovation within our students.
4. Assisting in the planning, and implementation of the Freshers Week programme for new students and any important events.
5. Providing advice and assist in the coordinating of all sports or cultural activities organized by students.
6. Coordinating UBD’s participation in local, regional and international sports and cultural events.
7. Assisting in the selection of suitable students for short developmental courses/ training/ conferences/ forums/ seminars overseas.
