Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Curtin University Malaysia have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen academic and research collaborations between the two institutions. The signing ceremony, held at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, marks a significant milestone in fostering cross-border educational and research partnerships in the region.
The MoU was signed by Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice-Chancellor of UBD, and Professor Dr Vincent Lee Chieng Chen, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of Curtin University Malaysia. Also present to witness the signing were Dr Haji Abdul Hanif bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahadi, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Sustainability) of UBD and Professor Dr Tuong-Thuy Vu, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Curtin University Malaysia.

By combining UBD’s academic excellence and sustainability focus with Curtin Malaysia’s industry-driven innovation and research expertise, this collaboration will open doors for student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and knowledge-sharing.
