Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), through the Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Sustainability) hosted the Climate Fresk Session on 5th November 2025. The three-hour collaborative workshop was organised to empower university students under the UBD Sustainability Youth Ambassador Programme (SYAP), by deepening climate change understanding and inspiring student-led actions.
Facilitated by My Actions for SDGs, the interactive session conducted activities such as a hands-on card game using 42 cards based on Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports, where participants explored the causes and consequences of climate change and collectively mapped out its interconnected systems.
This workshop is one of the many initiatives to support UBD’s goal of spreading sustainability knowledge and empowering students to become active change-makers in the community. By fostering awareness, collaboration, and reflection, the session aligns with the UBD Sustainability Masterplan and its mission to cultivate sustainability champions through transformative education.
UBD continues to strengthen its efforts in building a community of informed and engaged youth capable of contributing to sustainability within and beyond the campus.
