For academic staff, you may want to refer to the SPTA Scheme of Service (Nov 2018) to see if you met the basic requirement for promotion for that position, on top of requirement for teaching, research, publication and service. For non-academic staff, normally we will advertise vacancies of available positions on UBD website. If it is your pathway for promotion, you can refer to the scheme of service and see if you have met the criteria outlined, and apply as stated in the advertisement.
