The UBD School of Business and Economics (UBDSBE) is seeking two full-time Research Assistants for a 90-day project starting in December 2024. The research focuses on “Investigating Disruptive Technologies and Innovations for the Port and Shipping Ecosystem to Achieve Supply Chain Resilience.” Candidates with backgrounds in Technology Management, Energy Policy, Business Strategy, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Engineering are encouraged to apply.


The Role

  • Assist with information synthesis, literature review, data collection, and report preparation.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Model technology adoption policies or business strategies.
  • Complete tasks on time assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI).

Minimum requirements:

  • Brunei citizen
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a current PhD candidate.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and statistical software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
