Entry Requirements

General Requirement

  • At least Credit C6 in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level Examination ; or
  • a Grade ‘B’ in IGCSE English (as a Second Language) ; or
  • IELTS score of 6.0 ; or
  • TOEFL minimum overall score of 550 (paper-based); or
  • Band B2 in the UBD English Proficiency Test.

GCE ‘A’ Level Qualification or equivalent

Pre-2017 UCAS Tariff Points
A minimum of 180 points for two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or 220 points for three (3) ‘A’ Level passes in relevant science and computing subjects one of which must be ‘A’ Level mathematics with at least grade ‘C’.

UCAS Tariff Points*
A minimum of 72 points for two (2) ‘A’ Level passes OR 88 points for three (3) ‘A’ Level passes in relevant science and computing subjects one of which must be ‘A’ Level mathematics with at least grade ‘C’.


International Baccalaureate

  • An International Baccalaureate with minimum score of 26 points including a minimum of 5 points each in at least two relevant science subjects taken at higher level, one of which must be Mathematics;

Higher National Diploma (HND)

  • A minimum of FIVE (5) distinctions of core modules in Higher National Diploma (HND) in computer science related field, excluding Communication skills, one of which must be Mathematics AND pass an entrance examination;
