Team Belia Tabah Successfully Passed Technical Inspection at Shell Eco-marathon, Securing Spot on the Track

Lusail Internation Circuit, 9th February 2025 – Team Belia Tabah reached a significant milestone at the Shell Eco-marathon Asia and Middle East 2025 Competition , successfully passing the rigorous technical inspection and earning the opportunity to compete on the track with their battery-electric vehicle, Mekar.

The technical inspection, a crucial phase in the competition, consists of 11 stages, evaluating aspects such as mechanical integrity, electrical systems, and driver safety. Each vehicle must meet the strict safety and performance standards set by the competition before being cleared for track testing and competition.

Passing this inspection is a testament to the team’s dedication, technical expertise, and countless hours of preparation. With Mekar now officially approved, Team Belia Tabah is ready to take on the next challenge: optimising performance during practice runs and competing against some of the most energy-efficient vehicles in the world.
