Research and Teaching
The university houses world-renowned academics and professors whom you can work with throughout your graduate studies. Graduate studies in the university include Master’s Degree and Doctor of Philosophy programmes. Taught and research courses will be fully conducted by knowledgeable experts in the field of study.
All graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend the Weekly Seminar Series where Eminent Speakers are invited to share the latest development and research in their respective area of specialty.
Teaching at UBD
Graduate courses in UBD range from 12 to 24 months in duration whereby prospective students can choose from two different intakes for most courses, January or August to start their journey as a graduate student at UBD.
Graduates who are enrolled in the Master’s Degree by coursework programmes are taught by local and international academics who are knowledgeable and professional in their respective field. Classes are conducted in the form of lecture, seminars, tutorials and presentations to provide opportunities for the development of soft skills such as communication skills, and logic and reasoning in fellow graduates.
Research at UBD
Graduates in the research programmes from both the Master’s Degree and Doctor of Philosophy levels are provided with supervision by field experts to ensure that the research conducted is relevant to the local community and appealing to the international community.
When enrolled in UBD Research programmes, graduates will have ample opportunity to collaborate with experts in their field of expertise, present in seminars, work on patented research and research methods, and publish in reputable journals to build on their academic profiles.
