Welcoming Email

You will receive an email with the subject “Welcome to UBD”, before the start of Freshers Week. This email will include important information on:

1. Registration Number / Username
2. Activation of UBD Systems (UBD Email, GenNEXT Information System (GIS), myUBD, CANVAS (UBD Learning Management System), UBD e-Payment, Microsoft Teams), Fee Payment Instructions, Freshers Week Timetable etc.

Pre-Freshers Week

Before the start of Freshers Week you must settle all the related payments, purchase insurance coverage and submit the necessary documents online.

Freshers Week

22 July 2024 – 26 July 2024

Freshers Week will start with the Vice Chancellor’s Address and Oath Taking. All new students are required to attend this event.

It is an orientation week filled with introductory briefings on all matters necessary to start your university life and other exciting activities. It will be an opportunity to get to know your university and its surroundings, meet with your faculty and learn the modules you would need to register for and prepare yourself for the transition into tertiary studies. You will also have the opportunity to explore and get to know the UBD Students’ Association and all the clubs and societies and meet and make new friends.
