Graduate Destinations experiential learning and opportunities to explore one’s potential are presented in abundance to UBD students. During their Discovery Year, which is a capstone year where it is compulsory for students to leave the university compound to gain studying and working experiences. Students can choose from a range of options including studying abroad, student exchange, internship in local or international institutions, carrying incubation projects or performing community outreach programmes or a combination of two of the options. Their independent living, decision-making and problem-solving experiences allow personal and professional growth of students. Consequently, when students leave UBD they are more job-ready, independent and industry-relevant than when they started their journey in the institution.
